If you memory serves you well, I collaborated on a quick shoot with photographer Mellie Tjoeng awhile back. In that post I mentioned that videographer/director Tim Jieh stopped by to film what was going down. He just uploaded this short film and I absolutely love his take on everything that went down! Find the video below and a few screengrabs from my favorite moments! Thank you Tim! Hope that we can work together in the future again.

I have a strong belief that the projects you choose to do or are a part of are direct links to your own creativity...and Ethan James is probably one of my favorite models because of just that. He's appeared in and has worked with virtually everything/everyone I admire: Vogue Italia (shot by Steven Meisel), V-Man (styled by Tom van Dorpe), the face of Paul Smith (2010), and has walked for Robert Geller, Ann Demuelemeester, Damir Doma, Dior Homme, and YSL to name a few. Perhaps a reason why his body of work reads so consistently is that he is also a budding photographer (view his work here) with an edited eye for artistic beauty.

Take a look through some of my favorite images of him that are somehow always on my mood board. He's up there on my list of people to work with alongside Carl Barnett, Tom van Dorpe, Damon Baker, Willy Vanderperre...I can dream can't I?

I've been having a fun week shooting for Honolulu Magazine's Ala Moana Center ads in the upcoming September issue. It'll be a 3 page shopping ad featuring a select number of trends for the Fall...though you'll have to wait and find out what those trends are! Hope you enjoy these detailed shots of a few of the shoes and accessories that'll be out soon.

Everyone meet Next Model Management's Nalani Ravelo.
I don't really have to explain anything here other than this: worked on a special project between Josh Dulatre and I today. We thankfully got to bring along photographer Harold Julian and makeup artist Zairrah for the ride...which can mean only that an editorial will be coming out some time in August. Till then...enjoy Nalani breathing life into every single moment like a true model badass!

How awesome! I had no idea that Modern Luxury was at the fashion presentation I styled for Collins&8th earlier this year! It's nice to see basically all the people I love in the local fashion industry getting proper recognition for their hard work, their creativity, and their passion. Thank you to everyone who attended that joyous day :)

In the spirit of all the hormonal women and fabulous men flocking to see Magic Mike, I present to you a throwback of model Hudson Taylor.  In a photoshoot shot by Harold Julian exclusively for THE FASHIONISTO, Hudson showcased a plethora of looks ranging from barely there tees to a modern take on suiting.

Here's the cover of the latest Summer issue of Honolulu SHOPS Waikiki magazine. I was one of the contributing editors for a segment called 'Runway Remix' and now you can see view the shopping spread in its entirety!

What a great learning experience it was for me to go through the process of merchandising product for this kind of segment. It looks quite simple, but can be frustrating when you're trying to make something like jeans pretty, but in a messy way.

Everything on the pages are $200 and under, taken from a selection of local boutiques as well as other stores found in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.
