I found it strange that Tyler hadn't signed to any local agencies, so I sent him to a Wilhelmina HI casting a little over a month ago. Needless to say, boy got signed (woohoo)! It's a shame he'll be home for Summer on Maui, but once he gets back in August...it'll be time to roll out more menswear shoots.

Embellishments, reinvented white shirt, eyelets, leather, sunnies, and smile are basically all you need to survive the Summer in style! Special thank you to my assistants, Cassie Louie and Trey Ahu, for being there to sort through my madness and also Ryan Camacho for lending his expert hair/makeup on location.

I made Chad run two blocks, complete 15 jumping jacks, had him run in place for about half a minute all in a short short period of time, and then dumped cold water on his face. This is the end result with photography by yours truly.

Shot a bunch of great items from a select number of shops for Honolulu SHOPS Magazine's Summer issue out in June. I won't give too much away other than the the trends this time around are more colorful and flirty than the last! I'll just leave you with this pair of geometric bejeweled earrings as a teaser. As I begin rounds of more shopping ads for Honolulu SHOPS Magazine, I just wanted to take the time to lament the Spring season. Perhaps it's all of my allergies that are making me a hater, but I just don't really see myself as a Spring person. Oh well. Nothing like shopping to pick you up right? *achoooo*

I'm gonna test the theory of positive thinking today. So what better way to kick off a great day than with a new shirt? I got this Saturdays NYC button-up at Aloha Rag a couple weeks back, but wanted to save it for a "rainy day". Today is that kind of day. Let's do this!
